War Dead – Horace Alfred Gamble

Horace Alfred Gamble was born in early 1894 in Battersea, and in 1911 he was living at 5 Livingstone Road in Battersea, London.

Horace fought as a private, service number 47504, in the 2nd Battalion of the Northamptonshire Regiment.

Horace died in the Somme on 26 March 1918 at the age of 24 and is commemorated at the Pozieres Memorial in France.
